I often do the Christmas cake and Plum Pudding at home, this is the Rum Cake I do.

The thick newspaper around the cake tin stops the tin getting too hot and burning the outside of the cake, I borrowed this idea from a very old 1920's christmas cake recipe

Good looking cake John. I added a picture of one of mine but it fell so flat you can't see it. If I really tried to make one I would probably set baking back 100 years.
