My lens just came in.
It is a HAMA +2, not the best, but it is my first. If i lke it maybee i buy a better one. I just tried some pictures with an noticed the following: -focus from 50cm only at telemacro (12x zoom) -dof is VERRY narrow, need to experiment wit focus lock (telemacro only works in macro mode) an aperture setting to see if i get a larger area in focus When i have a good picture with my macro lens i will post it here. Talking about closeup lenses, will the Hoya 55mm brand fit on the Fz5?

Every lens/filter with 55mm threads will fit on the FZ5, so the Hoya's will fit also. If you sand down the stock adapter for 1mm they will fit even better (use the search in this forum about the sanding).

Close enough? The actual size is ½". Image done with FZ10 CRing adapter 62-55mm CRing and Nikon 4T (2.9 diopter). Shot recorded at 8X to increase DOF and then 40% cropped.
