#8 -- I guess it's for real (it was closed when we were there) The whole place winds down after Labor Day, so very few rides, games, and food booths were open. Many carnival rides sitting still created a really weird vibe.

#9 -- "Brooklyn's Eiffel Tower" (It's an old parachute drop ride. It was originally designed for military training and the designer had so many requests for civilian use that it became a ride. It went through a state of decay, then was declared a landmark (twice) and painted a few years back. There are rumors thatbusinesspeople want to restore the ride to an operating state but costs have prevented it.But... still...a pretty cool looking structure.

#10 -- Coney Island.

It was a nice day, a brisk wind was coming in from the water, the aquarium was fantastic... good times.
