All photos were taken from a boat and handheld. Did not crop, only resized and adjusted levels in photoshop.

Great series Jerry. Favourites are 1,3 and 4....not too sure about the gator, guess you keep as far away as possible...Fred

Just noticed...I am being logged in as Sandgroper which was my original id. After using a clean up program, I had to re log in with a different name. Don't know why it has reverted....I am really Bootneck2

Fred, thanks for the comment. As, for the gator, we stayed in the boat and were moving along slowly, but on the ready to go. Love being out there, but very hard to get good focus from a moving boat of the birds who are also moving. Saw my first eagle. Got some shots, but he was too far away for good close up.

Willow, thanks for the comments. I never miss a chance to go into the swamps. I love it. It is always an adventure. Yes, I love the cypress bottoms. The trees are awesome and what we call the cypress knees protruding from the water much like stalagmites on the floor of a cave. It is very beautiful there with all the different birds, animals, etc. Completely away from the city, but yet not so far away. Much like being in the Everglades.

Thanks again. Comments from you are appreciated.

Jerry
