Hello everybody,
i just received my new ad-on lenses: DCR 250 macro and the DCR 730 wide. I would very much like to know which settings you recommend are best to use on my FZ 7? For the wide angle as for the macro lens... Your help would be greatly aprecciated ![]() When i use the macro lens, do you use the macro setting? Or the Apperture priority etc? Which zoom setting is best? The same goes for the wide lens... Hope to read your awnsers, can't wait to go shoot some pics! |

Hoi,
for the dcr250, I mostly to go to f8 to get the most dof possible, spot focus and spot light metering, I also use manual focus (i got the fz5 the fz7 should be bettet for this), zoom between 5 and 12 and if you want to use the flash most insects don't mind it, not that there are so much available now :-). I don't have the 730 wide but the 6600, but imho it shouldn't make that much difference, I haven't seen any specific setting for it, just use it as if you wouldn't have it on the cam. Just think that when zooming in at some point it is better to remove it and zoom back a bit. You also can missuse it to get more light into the sensor, not ideal but anything that helps to get a good shot is worth the experiment. I really enjoy the dcr250 and the 6600, and I'm almost shure you will. Ronny |

Fred I copied one from seemolf's work,
![]() It's easy to take with you and the main reason I use it. Any white plastic sheet will do. Seemolf also has some pages about his experiments http://freenet-homepage.de/seemolf/light.html I tried his baloon diffuser but couldn't get the nerve up to use it in public  Ronny |
