this silly thing doesn't seem to know it's almost Christmas! in spite of two snowfalls and several nights with temps below freezing, it continues to bloom as if it were June!

Such a pretty rose! Just think of it as a snow rose - it's about the right color.

P.S. It's a great photo - I've never been able to get a white flower to look good when it's sunny, and it looks like it's a whole lot sunnier there than it is here this afternoon.
