It was late and very poor lighting...I don't have photo editing software on this computer only Picture Manager so I just cropped and lightened midtonesw for posting...the point is that with the Canon 7D and 100-400 or even the Bigma 150-500 I would never have gotten these shots...the FZ35 with LT-55 attached is a very capable set up...itook the 7D and 100-400 out yesterday morning and got some decent shots, IF I had taken the FZ35 w/LT-55 I would have gotten many more as when I went through all the pic's I missed a lot with only a 400mm zoom (640mm equivalent on the 7D) the subject (birds) were just too far for the 400 to reach even if had added the Canon TC 1.4 it still wouldn't have gotten what I wanted...so I was surprised at how much more detail I could have gotten with the FZ35-LT-55

This was approx 300 yds away...wish I had stepped it off to give us an idea of actual reach/limit with LT-55

I'd love to send you some of my deer but handling and shipping is a hassle.
Excellent pictures. I am tempted to get the LT-55. |

Order it through Amzon and pay a little more (H & B Digital)...you can shoot it for a week then send it back if you don't like it...in the right hands it is a viable weapon...lol
