I will start to use DPS-9000 with my FZ 20, but would like to know if anyone can tell me if the standard battery in the camera have tobe removed when usingthis powerpack?

It does not have to be removed , but with the DPS9000 plugged in the Power save feature of the camera does not work so if you leave the battery in and forget to turn off the camera both batteries will drain.

Same if you forget to switch it off after downloading the pictures to your computer; it's drained my battery several times now :G
