And the best of all:when you take a close look at the corresponding (best quality) JPG- and TIFF files (I did), you will see ABSOLUTELY no difference!!! The same 'staircase' pixels, the same sharpness (or fuzziness), the same colours. I wonder why Panasonic has given usthe TIFF option....
Below: original (TIFF) photo, then a center crop of the JPG-Image and then a center crop of the TIFF image (please forgive me the slight difference in size of the crops, but it doesn't change my point). I agree tiff is worthless, but its one area that Panasonic listened to use we asked for tiff when we had the FZ10, and they gave it to us.... when we discovered it had no value ...we asked for raw and they gave us that.
