This isn't my best work but I really just want to know what it is. I have lived here for 26 years and I have never seen a beetle like this before.
The sun had already set and it was pitch black outside. This was shot in B&Wusing the DCR5320 (+3) and lit with red LED lights. (The beetle would hide every time it tried to get normal lighting on it.) ![]() |

The dust on it and the fact that more than half is hidden makes it difficult to identify. Is your LED light home made? Do you mind sharing some info concerning the light?

The LED light I used was an Energizer 6 LED headlight. It has four white LEDs and two red LEDs. I honestly never thought I would use the red setting on the light but it came in handy last night.
Sven, Thanks for the info. |
