finally got a break in the rain this morning! happy dance! :-D still no sun, and the dry didn't last - it was back to rain by 1:30 or so, but i did manage to run down to the local wetland park to see if there was anything worth a shot. wasn't much, but after being cooped up for the last 6 weeks with nary a dry day to be had - at least not when i wasn't working - i was ready to take whatever i could get!
a duck -i'm sure hecouldn't care less about the rain! the water is reflecting the sky, so you can see what kind of day it was... ![]() and a rather bedraggled heron, who looks like he cares about the rain a great deal! i think he's about as disgusted with the weather as i am! :G got him at 12x zoom, with my TCON-14B, from about 50 yards away. even with my monopod and OIS, this one's a bit blurry, thanks to the lousy light and slow shutter... ![]() a "weenie-roast"... ![]() and the first signs of spring... ![]() |
