Default Eagles swopping for the goodies

Here's some pics of eagles swooping down to get fishes during the eagle feeding session on my last holiday trip. Pics are taken using the FZ28 and were cropped.

Now the problem with FZ28 is the relatively slow focus time. It's quite troublesome if you are suppose to take moving and unpredictable object, such as the eagles for this instance. Any ideas on how to go about this ideas?

This second photo was photoshop to bring out the contrast. Too much noise as a result though.

Nice shots. I went from an FZ18 to an FZ35 and am still testing, but think the FZ35's auto-tracking focus is quicker then the FZ18, so it might be a better focusing camera then what you have. With either camera, it is hard to pick up a moving target in front of a solid background like the trees you have here.
