Hi Dinoddc,
This is pretty cool.. We, from Turkey, probably saw eclipse much better in Istanbul (87% coverage), and full eclipsein Antalya (southern Turkey). However, even though I tried to capture it with another Sony F828, I couldn't manage. We put a UV filter paper -which was given by a scientific magazine- but it was very difficult to have it in front of the lens properly. Maybe we should've set a proper system beforehand. This one below belongs toa friend in a Turkish photography forum. (%100 crop, Canon S1) |

This photo I took from the back garden. I was trying out the FZ5 outdoors since the weather was nice (though windy). When taking the pic I didn't know that I was photographing the eclipse:!: I heard about the eclipse on the radio, that's how I knew it wasn't due to clouds. Btw, this is my first post on this site with a photo taken with my own camera. I use 2 programs on the pc for adjusting/correcting photos: first Picasa2, then Irfanview. What do you think?
