was planning to show you a Souther hemisphere Christmas sunrise. But we have had rain overnight, and it is raining again this morning, so I am not going to get the FZ30 wet. I hope the rain is falling on the bushfire and giving the people up there a bit of relief for Christmas.
Since I could not bring you a sunrise, here is a shot from last night ![]() Manzanilla, a particularly dry sherry being added to last nights entree. Being of Spanish heritage, last night we celebrated Noche Buena. And yes I know I am using an asian wok rather than traditional earthenware dishes. This is Australia and we mix and match like crazy here. In a couple of hours, when the girls wake up we will continue the spanish theme for a while with chocolate and churros for breakfast, which with todays cooler weather will be a little more appropriate than normal. Later today we will switch to a German/Dutch Christmas for my wifes side of the family. Tomorrow, I will sit on the couch with a bunch of leftovers and watch the boxing day test on the box. In the meantime, wherever you are, and however you celebrate this time of the year, may it be safe and joyful. |
