My wife and I went to the mountains Wednesday to burn some brush before the fire season started. It was raining a little that day but was not to cold. The first photo is a close up of the burn pile late Wednesday evening and the second is what we woke up to on Thursday morning.

Nice capture on the fire hot, beautiful photo of the ice and trees. I just love how the small bits of green just give the almost b&W shot that added life. A wall hanger.

Thanks all for looking and the nice comments. It was actually a very relaxing and enjoyable couple of days even with the sore muscles from raking and piling debris.

Ted, both are beautiful shots. The first one is almost abstract and the second...well what can I say... gorgeously serene.
