Hello
I've been a avid reader of this forum and a few others over the last month, ever since I decided to purchase a FZ30, I received it last week and have been experimenting ever since. You seem a good lot, so please don't be too harsh lol. I managed to pick up a Ricoh TC-200m last week for £3.50 ($6)! on Ebay, I must say what a nice teleconverter it is, all shots below were used with it. If you like the shots I will look forward to posting some more. I'm like a sponge at the moment, sucking in info and learning, so keep up the good work. (First two were taken behind glass, a little PP but no cropping at all). All the best Shingle. |

Shingle
For someone whose just got the cam those are pretty good shots indeed esp the 1st two being behind glass. No sign of a reflection at all. The first two are nice and sharp and the exposure looks pretty spot on as well. No 3 is a good shot as well, he looks pretty well camouflaged as well. Cheers HarjTT ![]() |

Welcome Shingle
really impressive shots, and the quality of the TC seems fairly good, although the images are resized. I like very mich the Gibon monkey and especially the Caracal cat (?, #1) FraF |

You are right I misidentified it (caracals have no spotted skin).

Welcome Shingle, All the shots you posted are real beauties! You did a great job especially considering two were through glass, which I wouldn't have noticed had you not indicated it! That cat appears to be the size of a normal house cat except for it's oversized and colorful 'W.C. Fields nose'! Jim
