There were some flowers at the ferry terminal so took a shot at it.
Played with the colours too. Inverted one, replaced colour with another. Appreciate your views on these. FZ10+6T, F8, various speeds, ISO50, 2 diffused flash #1: Original flower ![]() #2: Closer view ![]() #3: Inverted image ![]() #4: Replaced colour image (don't ask me how I did it...can't remember the various steps, I just anyhow slide all the sliders until I got this) ![]() |

It's a nice viewpoint, and the colours are very striking - a tiny bit softer than optimal, but still very clear... though the manipulated two do not do anything in particular for me (the recoloured one is ok, but the inverted one seems to need something extra - a bit of contrasting colour maybe?...)
(I would also clone out that small blemish, on the lower left petal) |
