Focus Distance Setting on FZ10?

Is there a way to set the focus distance on the FZ10 like you can on a Sony DSC-S85?

I undersand you can hold the shutter release half way down but I am trying to set the focus distance to infinity to work underwater through a housing.

Thank you.

"distance focus"

simply set the focus to manual and run it out to infinity.

Infinity focus for FZ10

1. set the zoom (focusing changes with the zoom);
2. put the camera in Manual focus mode (obviously);
3. slowly turn the focusing ring counter-clockwise about 1/4 turn, which will take it PAST infinity (but you won't be able to see what lies beyond the universe). A quarter-turn is more than enough to go from infinity to closest possible macro. Turning it fast doesn't change the focus faster, and it's very sensitive/responsive when turned slowly;
4. turn it back (clockwise) just a little to get the infinity focus. If possible, do this while focusing on a distant object, and take advantage of the MF Assist, which is the enlargement window that appears by default.

Thank you. It seems simple enough, but it wasn't apparent to me when I saw the enlarged central focus area that is was being set to infinite.
