Summer has started in earnest here, and temperature is touching 41 degrees. All plants are drying up, but this buddy managed to find some cool place. I was trying to get as close to him as possible, and he was trying to get away from me as much as possible! Still, I managed these shots.

Raghu, two andthree are nice shots, but #1 is a great shot. The way the frog is poised and the way you framed it is perfect. The only critique i would have, is that it seems to be a little overexposed...which is easily adjusted in PP by turning down the brightness a bit...to my eyes, this looks a little more balanced....of coarse it's all subjective.

considering the shutter speeds you were working with, and the focal length of the lens setting, these came out quote well. there's a bit more noise than i'd expect, but these are probably fairly heavily cropped - either that, or you really got in his face to get these at 3x! :Gin any case, nice shotsin what was obviously a difficult lighting situation!

Thanks Hiroshi and Squirl. Yes, the photo was heavily cropped. You would not believe the light and heat at around 7-7.15 a.m. when I shot these. I like Hiroshi's redone pic.

Raghu, i took the liberty of running your pic through NeatImage and tweaking the brightness and contrast just a bit to compensate for the overexposure... hope you don't mind...

Thanks, Squirl. The result is good. I was using Neat Image for some time, but of late I have discontinuedbecause I feel it sort-ofsmudges finer details (forexample, comparethe skin shrink and specks in the throat area of the frog in the re-made image with the original). However, you have done a 'Neat' job! Thanks for your interest.
