Actually, it's the Coast Guard practicing in some heavy seas that were rolling through the mouth of the bay.

I love the sea and pictures of it. Thanks for posting. O.K. if you are in a good seaworthy boat as they obviously are...not much fun if the sea had been taken beam-on!

Nice series of the boat. I could watch this action for hours if I lived in the area and would dearly love to be sitting in the helm.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments, I am glad you liked the shots. It looks like fun and I would have liked the ride except for one thing, I would have been leaning over the rail throwing up.
I just went out to take pictures of the surf and was really lucky to catch the Coast Guard out practicing.
