I just purchased an FX7. It's great but I need another battery to use. I can't find the Panasonic replacements. I have found out that the battery is the same as the one for the Fuji NP-40. Its 3.7 v, 710mah.

I've found a few variants for that model number that have a higher mah (about 1200). My question is this: As long as the vlotage is correct, could I use the higher Mah to get more shooting time, or would it damage the camera?

Also, if anyone knows of a trusted source for replacement batteries, I'd appreciate a site referral.

Thanks for your help.
