(1) It would be interesting to see how a tcon-300 would fit into this lineup.

(2) Incidentally, for the Nikon TC-E17ED - which adapter did you use on your FZ30?
(Name, Model #, etc.) Thanks!
(1) The TCON-300 may cause vignetting and/or light fall-off on a FZ-30 due to its small front glass elements. I personally screened the lenses to be included in my testing. In other words, they have to be good enough among the crop that I have access to. I am not interested in the TCON-300 because of the reason mentioned above. I am not interested in the Raynox 2020 2.2X mainly due to its edge sharpness. This lens should be tested in its own class rather than mixed with good lenses such as the TCON-17, TC-E15ED, TC-E17ED, etc.

(2) You may try the B+W 55-60mm step-up ring. It is available at B&H: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...goryNavigationThe Filter Connection also has it: http://www.2filter.com/prices/produc...to_100mm_Rings_ and a general brand version.

For details, please refer to me yet-to-be-announced FZ-30 guide: http://www.cs.mtu.edu/~shene/DigiCam/User-Guide/FZ-30/
