FZ100 Macros with LC55
 
The Butterfly and the Snail shot were without the LC55...the Snail shot was zoom. but still seemed a Macro?

No popping sharpness, nor contrast, but more detail. Nice work.

I would check your monitor calibration in that case. I agree a bit in regard to that for #1 and more so for #6 but the others are not struggling for contrast of sharpness. Obviously at reduced for web size the sharpness can be down in a large portion to PP.

Think the combo is working out well.

i think these look great. the contrast and sharpness looks good on my monitor too, minus #6 but that may be down to conditions. but really looks like a good macro combo to me.

Thanks Mark and Dustin...yes the LC55 is looking good on the FZ100...photo #6 was a Zoom Shot off the camera from about 5ft away in bright sunlight conditions without the LC55...I thought the Snail with the grasshopper and the smaller critters all riding a floating log together was fun...there are few colors this time of year as the hot dry summer has pulled the color out of everything and the flowers are all gone except for the hardiest....so not a great time of year for colorful photos...even the acorns are yellowing around the edges...
