My granddaughters are both into Ballet Dance. They dance next weekend and although they are in light on the stage it's completely dark and no flash can be used. No matter what I've tried, pictures always come out to dark and with a lot of noise. What is the best settings for this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Now I never tried this but it should not be much different than a concert.
So try this use spot focus and spot meter ...maybe try the first time with the ISO set on 200. If possible prefocus on a spot on the stage where most of the action will occur. As that can be the hardest thing for the camera to do in low light. Anduse aperture priority set on F2.8 if the shutter speed is too slow you will have to raise the ISO and if the shutterspeed seems about right you can try lowering it. Good luck and let us knowhow it goes. |
