While not knocking your photography I find these extreme close ups a bit daunting, they look as if they are about to attack you! That FZ150 is an awesome machine.

great detail as always mate. the 1st and 4th are my favorite. the fine detail on the male chicken (resisting the need to call it by the correct male term) is impressive. and they said that the newer fz's couldnt shoot fur or feathers. well done for proving the critics wrong! great shots

what shutter speed were you using? ive been doing some zoomed indoor shots and found good results with 1/60 using flash in lower light to bring the brightness up.the shots are nice and sharp but getting a little too much shadow. photgraphing my 9 week old baby tho not chickens lol
