Wow jasey, you really are the curious type, wanting to see how everything looks from different perspectives. I guess we're all children at heart, but you especially. Keep it up.
Oh, and that's not magic in your pool, it's mercury. |

Thanks Jim & Corpsy ... I'm making the most of summer down here in SA
![]() Gotta go down to go up - and with no film to waste, there aren't any bad shots to be scared of, just hundreds of not-so-great shots on the road to decent shots down the line! |

you're definitely getting the hang of it, Jaseyboy! nice shots, good detail and clarity. like you said, it's amazing the detail these cameras can capture. most people initially buy an FZ because that long zoom will let them pick out subjects at absurd distances, but a good close-up lens opens up a whole new world at the OTHER end of the distance spectrum. :G
keep up the good work, and post more pics! |

you know squirrel, you're absolutely right. it's truly ironic standing a few mm away from a subject with a 12x+ zoom camera in your hands.
but i was reading the latest edition of Digital Camera magazine and they featured macro photography this month. the author said, once you go up close, you can't go back - it's addictive. and he's right ... it's fun ![]() |
