The Industry defined 1X as 150KB/sec.
The FZ30 requires at least 10MB/sec to record 30fpsVGA ( Page 70 of the users manual ) This equates to a 66X card. |

Well, I know that shooting raw images is faster a bit. I can say that it is a difference between the sandisk that I had and this one.Even when I plug the card in my Inspiron, read time is faster(thus it copies the stuff in shorter periods of time).I even tried to write a folder with 0.5 gig of music on it, and it was about 3-4 sec faster than the Sandisk.Not a lot, but hey....
