FZ35 - drab landscape, bright red bridges

A nearby park has a small stream running through the length (approx 3 miles). The park is partially populated by sycamore trees, all of which are bare right now. The turf is still dormant, nothing has yet to bud. The landscape is pretty drab. But, the two covered bridges in the park offered a bright spot of color.

Sunday was a clear, cold afternoon. The deep blue sky is not offered to us very often (wish there had been some puffy clouds).

Nice shots- and I like these types of bridges- like Madison County's..!
Though I do struggle with the logic of putting a roof on a bridge- when the rest of the road is uncovered..!
Perhaps the planks last longer if they're kept dry...!? :)

OK, seasons are changing. I returned to the park on Sunday. Here are a few more shots of the same scene, but different season. This time, some of the drab is gone. However, the large sycamore trees have yet to leaf, so there will be another time with more leaves.

Enjoy...
