These are some of the shots my son took in Costa Rica. He spent 2 weeks as a beach bum on the southern tip of the Guanacaste peninsula.
#1 The tiny puddle jumper that takes you from the capital San Jose to the peninsula.... seats about 12 people. ![]() #2 View from the tiny plane ![]() #3 Typical beach....the lines in the middle of the image that looks like lint turned out to be birds ![]() #4 ...like this ![]() #5 ![]() #6 Awesome sunsets ![]() #7 Whales ![]() #8 ![]() #9 ![]() #10 ![]() #11 ![]() #12 ![]() |

Awesome photos!!! So, are you able to pry your FZ35 from your son's hands, after shooting photos like this? LOL!
I loved all of them; the whales were great! |

Thanks everyone, I will relay your compliments to my son. He's been doing under water photography with me since he was 13 and he has a good eye for composition.
And yes Zos, I'm dying to go photograph their wildlife, too (whine, whine)! |

That "awesome sunset" is the best sunset pic i've ever seen . To think my camera is capable of such a fantastic photograph excites me no end .
If only I were ![]() Would you mind if i stole it for wallpaper on my laptop ? |
