these look really nice LT. very sharp. good colors. that chamelean spider is impressive creature.
looks like a good combo to me.

Thanks Dustin very hard to shoot that Spider when he is the same color as the flower and was in the shade to boot...the cameras AF System I am sure must be confused...it still did a great job I thought...the AF on the FZ40 works well...

Excellent shots - what were the picture adjustment setting for NR-Saturation-etc?
Are you using the monopod?

I purchased a Slik monopod from EBay - a little heavy but usable. Have you noticed the FZ40 getting "confused" on focusing sometimes? Sometimes it seemed it just didn't want to focus - but it may have been me and the "mode" I was in.
