Very nice & sharp macro shot. I lack the patience it takes to get shots like that.
Kudos, ![]() |

How do you people DO this?
Do you go round spreading superglue on sticks by ponds or something? The dragonflies I see seldom even hover and never land on anything! Beautiful! |

LOL:lol: ..
very funny ... yeah superglue will work ... ALAN , as matter of fact it is easy to shot a dragonfly if you know their behaviour .. what i learn from them are, dont chase em.. just look for a dragon who sit still landing .. approach em.. they will fly away off course .. but wait there they will come back i guarantee you .. then set your camera ..approach it gently .. snap on em .. in tropical country like mine.. the best time to shoot em is in the morning before sun goes really high, because their wing still wet from morning dew, ![]() another thing that i learnt is .. snaping male dragonfly maybe a lot of tougher than the female ones... because they always hovering and roaming really fast protecting their area .. to distinguish em is easy ..usually they have very dark and diffrent colour.. happy hunting :-) |
