I lost my beloved kitty, Tessa last week. I wanted to share a few of my favorite photos of her with you guys. She was my muse :(

Dear Mary, I understand what you're trying for the loss of your beloved and beautiful Tessa. Also I have spent more than one time this dramatic experience with my previous cats, these creatures become like members of your family and sometimes with a very deep relationship of love. Time will heal this wound and Tessa now plays with the mice in heaven cats.

Mary, I'm so sorry of your loss of Tessa. I know the pain you are going thru very well; only my pain was with beloved dogs.

Tessa knew just how loved she was, & returned that love.

They are our "children", and we grieve for them. However, they remain in their part of our heart forever.

Rest in Peace, little Tessa.

Always sad to loose a pet. We get very attached to them. Hope you are OK.

thank you everyone for you kind thoughts and comments. yes, our pets are like "children." tessa was 17 and had a wonderful life. i'm doing ok tullio, each day gets a bit easier.

Sorry to hear you lost your dear pet, Mary.

We used to have cats at home when we were among the first settlers in my town some 45 years ago. We have seen several litters and at young age, have enjoyed playing around with kittens. Somehow, strangely, I don't recall ONE of them living a full life and dying in my house - they came, reproduced and went away.

However, dogs took over after some time and I know at least three who lived to about 15 and died a peaceful death at home - we have buried them. I know how much a void they create when they leave us for good. Please bear it with the satisfaction that you provided a good home for your pet. I am sure another pet will soon find a place in your home.
