a quote i read comes to light, no pun intended, BETTER TO LIGHT A CANDLE THAN CURSE THE DARKNESS...... to me a candle represents life......it emits and spreads light but can also go out in an instant.......so enjoy the glow and spread it while you can.
was bored at home and rather than venture outand be the butt of 'april fools day ' jokes i stayed in and entertained myself with a candle and my fz20. shot 1...6mm....f/6.5....1/25.....iso 200...spot meter....AP dint do much editing.....cropped..... and made the background darker so that the plate that it was on blended into the darkness |

An interesting and creative series. I just love looking at how others' creative urges drive them in all sorts ofwonderful directions.

I think the 4th is the strongest (holder in glass bowl) because it adds a little mystery to the picture and causes one to study it longer. That was a productive exercise and I learned, too.

very nice work, I like the reflections and the gradient of the glow throught the wax.
