Default Here you go with new Fz47 with 1080i video

Panasonic reveals Lumix FZ47 superzoom, lets you shoot 1080i video with full manual control

Personal Impressions:
1 - Horrible place for the focus light.
2 - 12.1 Megapixel high-speed CCD? Maybe it's better than the FZ100 CMOS (noise). If it has the noise of fz35 and speed of fz100 then it's a huge improvement
3 - Looks like AF tracking is usable now. Good.
4 - You can take a 3.5MP photo while recording video. Nice!
5 - The intelligent resolution thing is worse than nothing.
6 - No hotshoe?

Notes - Any camera can take 3d pictures of still objects, this one just seems to have the software to transform 2 pictures into a 3d image.
The AF tracking improvement, social sharing and the 3d picture thing are software (firmware) improvements, and this camera has the same processor as the FZ100, so, Panasonic should release an update for FZ100 adding these capabilities imho.

Also, if they really fixed the AF tracking they should release a firmware update for the FZ40/45 and FZ100 because they are unusable.

no RAW = no buy

I use it on most of my FZ28 shots.
