My suggestion would be to contact Bill O'Reilly @ Foxnews.com.
He might be willing to air the whole thing unless the Canucks do the right thing! :-) This kind of story is right up his alley. |

While I can sympathise with him, he should consider himself lucky that he got his photos back...turn it into his homeowners and move on.
There was almost no chance anyone else was going to return the camera had someone else found it. That said ,I have no idea how someone could change as the canadian did in a matter of a few days. |

Wherever this doofus is from, some attempt to contact the media in his area should be made. We Canucks pride ourselves in following the Golden Rule. If this family can be shown the light...shine it on'em good.

Interestingly...a few weeks ago, while visiting gravesite of a dear relative who served his country as a United States Marine, this forum member found a small, compact digcam lying in the snow within a few feet of my relative in Eternal Rest.
This forum member dried it off, did not attempt to power it up and took it forthwith to the local PD. This forum member said to PD if recipient wanted to give a rewardthis member did not need one but toplease contribute to: www.semperfifund.org Call it Karma, Golden Rule (as KennethD does ![]() If this forum member lost his dig cam, he would hope that a Good Samaritan would return it. :-) |

You handed the camera to the local Police department ? You have to be kidding ?
There is now one fat cop out there taking various pictures of DONUTS ! Cops ARE only crooks with badges. I have seen that first hand over and over through the years. Why would you not hand it to who ever takes care of the grave site ? If no follow up ( wich I'm sure there would have been ) it would be yours ? If it were me that had lost my camera logic would be to ask who ever maintains the cemetary NOT the cops. In the same situation I WOULD have told the cemetary people about it and gave them my contact information. |
