I found this one in my file, I had forgotten about it. Took it about a month ago I think. I had only the head in focus, but the panny did a good job with that. At least I don't have the dirty feeder in the picture. Next year I am planting more flowers. Donna

SORRY!!! I made it too large! Donna

Donna, that is a nice shot. I love the hummers. I love to see the birds. During the winter, I have had as much as 15 bird feeders out, going thru almost 50# a week, including the ducks and squirrels:-). In spring, I put out about 6 to 8 hummer feeders. I just like having them around.
style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #000000"My point is, I don't tire of the birds. |
Good one Donna. You can imagine an expressionon it's face.
We may have parrots but those Hummers are something else Fred |
Always room for one more pretty hummer.

I guess is not easy to capture flying bird, I tried many times, but pretty bad result. Hmmm just curious what camera u use? |
Hi Everybody,
I have to apologize...the picture I posted was not taken with a panny. I posted it in a hurry, I was on my way to a camera club meeting (my 1st) and that is why it is so large and was NOT taken with my panny. Please accept my apologies, I will try to be more careful in the future. Donna |

And it is one of the best photos, I have seen of the ruby throated male. Much better than mine was.
P.S. Noticed your new avatar. Nice looking photo also.:G |
Thanks all around...I didn't realize I had posted the wrong hummer until the above poster asked what camera, and I notice the info on the file said oly...that's what I get for being in a hurry. I was on my way to a camera club meeting in a nearby town, but looks like everyone there is either a Nikon or canon user, guess I could be the "breath of fresh air"...since I have neither. Donna
