I know this is not a great shot but thought I would share it anyway. It is about 2cm long and moves pretty fast. I haven't seen one in decent light. They seem to come out late in the afternoon. I really want a good clear shot of one of these.

Not bad for what you had to work with. I understand how hard it is when nothing will sit still for you.

The low light in the late afternoon does't help either. My wife thinks
I'm crazy chasing this thing around the yard.

This guy is extremely busy.
I´ve seen him before in real life, but not as clear as you show him here.

Rebel, I wish you the very best on your quest. I've only seen on in my life, 1965 or so. It was huge, very large wings, larger than most moths or butterflys. We watched it for a good while. It acted much like a hummingbird. I doubt I'll ever see one again this side of a monitor. :cool:Keep at it, please.
