I think I need a better tripod.
Everytime when I think I have aimed it right and want to tighten the screws/dials, it shifted after they are tighened. It's so furstrating. How to I choose a good tripod? |

G'day Romerojpg.
I used some of your suggestions. From about 25 experiments, this is the only one that was half-way decent. Any more ideas (obviously will have to wait another month to try again). |

Looks good to me
![]() and as far as Tripods go, you dont need a tripod as you could just rest it on something, like a beanbag? pillow even? anything that lets you get it into possition so you can move it a little, then set the timer and let it shoot itself ![]() ![]() You can still take pics of the moon een when its not full (well I am ging to try) and then see how much detail you get from lesser fulness and how hard it is to get. No way we will get it like this mind you ![]() |
