I did notice after posting them that some looked a bit washed out. Did some adjusting to gamma/contrast. I think this one looks a little better now. |

Excellent captures.
This is unfair, such a big spider and a little ant. But what a concidence, I just looked at these pictures: http://www.naturfotografen-forum.de/...image_id=13818 http://www.naturfotografen-forum.de/...image_id=13729 The autors states, that the spider won the fight!!! Quite interesting, this one is captured with a Sanyo xacti S5, no addon lenses - just using the short distance macro! No raynox no stacking ;-) just shooting. Sven |

Those pics from the xacti are impressive, especially considering no add-on lens. Looks like a pretty large ant. That must be one tough little spider! |

Looks like the Sanyo xacti has an impresive macro focus (less than 1 inch). Wow !!
But that close, the spider will probably want to take a bite at you :-) |
