Well I really have no idea what you're talking about.

First thing, read the manual, cover to cover.

Next, post back in more detail if you still can't fix it.

... my manual isn't handy. Isn't there a way to restore factory settings? Could be wrong... just a thought.

I believe there is a way. It's somewhere in setup. You just say reset, something like that.

He could go in there and reset to factory.

You probably have cont auto focus turned on at the same time your using mode 1 image stabiliztion. This could probably cause the effect your speaking of. Try going into the menu and turning cont auto focus off and switch IS to mode 2.

Hope that helps.

Ok, on the FZ10 it goes like this to reset.

Switch on, arrow key with the toggle switch once to the right, thats the "Setup" mode. Arrow key (toggle) down until you come across "Reset" toggle to the right and there you have it.

Hopefully the FZ20 is the same, but I'm not sure. Good luck with it.

Danny.

If you figure what happened please let us know. I have seen threads where people say there is a delay in the viewfinder and I have never seen that myself.

NZ Macro...you are the man!

Are you a school teacher by any chance? :-)

The only time I notice a delay in the viewfinder is when Imove from something dark to something light.
