took these down by the lake with my FZ20. i'm still amazed at the way this camera pulls out the colors. by comparison to my 30D, though, these images needed a LOT more cleaning up to make them "presentable".... :G and i think i may have gotten some dust inside my FZ20 somehow... there were large specks scattered all over the image, the kind i'd expect if i had dust on the sensor of my DSLR... anyway, here's what sunset looked likethis eveningover Lake Washington, near my house. this was one of the first shots i took, at about 8:30 PM...
![]() a few minutes later, the sun's a little closer to the horizon... ![]() and last, after it had gone completely out of sight. i purposely included the fellow sitting on the dock... gives the image a faintly melancholy mood... ![]() |

Great shots squirl03, Glad to see you're still using the FZ20.
What software did you use to clean them up? No.3 is my favourite as well. Steve |

Squirll, I quess I sound like an echo of what all the others have said. While 1 & 2 are absolutely gorgeous, No. 3 is the one I would most like to frame and hang on my wall. It is so serene, a masterpiece.
