A trick that will help double your shutter speed is to underexpose 1 EV. I think Gene has mentioned this previously. You can't go much more than that, because when you bring the light back up in pp you'll have noise.A 1/3 1/2 or even 1 EV value less will bring up the shutter speed an equivalent when aperture is 2.8 already andyou're in A mode. Also, the 1 EV lessmay be closer to what you are seeing in the real world anyway as the camera is trying to give you a "properly exposed" result. Often best to use spot metering. The neat thing about the FZ over many a dslr is that you are getting to see the result in the viewfinder. Remember though that nothing gives more noise than underexposing too much then trying to bring it up lighter in post processing.
