I knew there was a reason I was doing all this! Once I get my camera bag and tripod and the weather breaks I will be giving the camera a workout. I live in the mountains of Arizona and the weather has not been too good lately. I am retired so I have the time. I just want to have the right gear to do the job correctly. I have some favorite places I want to take the camera to and start learning the ins and outs of this new hobby. I have received a lot of good advise here from reading the forums, replies to my questions, and following the links that others post. It will just take some time for everything to come together knowledge wise. Reading is one thing but being able to apply it is another thing. I will be busy for a while but will try and get started soon. I might even get lucky and get a photo worth posting.
