Lowepro Speedster Camera Strap

Could not pass this deal up and ordered one. It has good reviews. Hope it will work with the FZ camera.

$5.00 + no tax + free shipping = $5.00

You had me intrigued, but this Amazon review scares me.

1.0 out of 5 stars My first Lowepro disappointment!
I'm a big fan of Lowepro bags and packs. I own several and I have a lot of confidence in the brand, but this strap is not worthy of the name. The problem is the quick release buckle - the slightest accidental pressure on the buckle causes it to release and your camera is in free fall. There is no way I could relax with my camera on this strap. "

Steve I did see that one review but most are positive. On another forum people that are using them spoke highly of them and they are using them with big DSLR cameras. I guess I will find out.

Let us know. I have no problem with the Panasonic ones other than wishing it had a bit more neck padding when I have the tele converter on the camera, but that is enough to make me curious.

Update:

Got the strap yesterday and I think it works fine. Looking forward to getting a chance to use it.

That one bad review could have just received a bad strap. I've always been a huge fan of LowePro products; partly due to the fact that the young man that started this line resided in Montana. He was renowned for his outdoor skills, mountain climbing, etc. Sadly, he was killed in an avalanche.
