Lunch In The Woods (Not a Picnic)
I found twin fawns out exploring while mom was about 50 yards away eating. As soon as she realized they were out of the bed she came back and rounded them up. They had a little lunch then mom took them back to their bed and all three laid down. What a nice set of pictures. Don't think I have seen pictures of so young deer.......and to think some people like hunting with guns!

Fred thanks for looking and commenting. I have a lot of fun watching wildlife babies. Just like little kids they manage to do everything wrong.
I am trying to get my act together to try and find the wild horses and their colts. The colts are old enough that they should be full of energy and driving their Mom's nuts. I need a couple of days with no rain so I can 4 wheel drive into the area. roger (The Old Newbie) FZ 30, Nikon TCE17, QuikAim Max RDS, Zeiss Digiscope/Sony W7 |

Beautiful deer shots. The one with the young ones by their mother's side is particularly well done. Look forward to seeing more wild babies!

Lovely pictures Roger but spoiled by the blue frame...why not try a different colour frame...or no frame?

The blue frame with my logo is what I use for my Camera Hunts web sites. The prints that we sell are double matted white with a choice of inside color of green, brown or blue and no logo.
The photos I post are the same ones I put on my Camera Hunts web sites. I put them on the web site and then link to them for the discussion board. I don't have the time to do seperate photos one for my web sites and 1 for the discussion boards. Because I have them on the web site it allows me to share them with you all and be able to do it with out a lot of additional work. roger (The Old Newbie) FZ 30, Nikon TCE17, QuikAim Max RDS, Zeiss Digiscope/Sony W7 |
