Was at a park today, to bring my children to play there, and took the occasion to shoot. Saw this Lynx on the flower, which is quite rare, as I usually find them on leaves. So took various shots. By changing the angle, I was able to change the background of one of pic from yellowish to greenish.
Taken with FZ10+Nikon 6T+Sigma CU, Ext bounce flash, ISO 50, F8, various speeds. Appreciate any comments. Thanks! #1:Flower stage, yellow background 1/125s ![]() #2:Flower stage, Green background 1/125s ![]() #3:Into the petal 1/125s ![]() #4:Vertical composition 1/400s ![]() |

terrific shots as usual, CY... i guess the spider must have turned to keep facing you when you changed the angle for a different background... nervous little fella, huh? i still don't know how you get these little critters to stay still for you. when i try this, they scurry off someplace where i can't get at them!

tchuanye, you are the undisputed master of macro photography in this forum. You inspire me to do more and better photography. Very well done!
By the way, what do you mean by "ext. bounce flash"? How do you bounce itoutside? |

Well, not really, you can see the angle of the spider in the yellow BG and green BG is a slight difference. The spider did not move at all. By changing my aiming point slightly, I was able to change the background drastically. These are points that one make have to consider when framing the shot.
This lady is a ambusher....thus, she stays still most of the time....I did not make it still:lol: squirl033 wrote: Quote:

Thanks LadyhawkVA and Jim!
rduve, Thanks! Ext bounce flash, I use a homemade bounce card to bounce the flash. Its just a white cardboard that I strap to the flash, so that it can bounce the flash to the subject. You can see a pic here: ![]() rduve wrote: Quote:
