I believe this to be my first decent macro. May not be perfect, but as good as I could do.

Thanks ever so much, Donna, Annie, and Jota. I think that this one is probably my best yet. I did crop and enlarge some. Haven't figured out yet what some call a 100% crop.

a great macro of a most unusual critter.
I'd say you could add "macro photographer" to your resume.

Nice clean shot, Jerry! And nice use of the flash.

A 100% crop is a non-resizedout-crop detail of the original image. If you take the original image up to 100% on your computer screen, you only see a small section of the full sized photo. If you were to out-crop that section or a smaller portion of that section and save as is without resizing, you would have what is refered to asa 100% crop.

Wonderful shot Jerry. As it opened slowly on my screen, I thought you had shot a cake or a pudding and later realised how far from edible it is!
