Now, I am by no means a judge, this one is much better to me. However, I realize that others may see what I have not yet learned to look for.

I'd be interested in seeing the original version of this shot.

Armadillo,
You are getting closer. I was amazed to see this post because I have almost the exact same image on my desk at work, nearly the same angle and phase as your image. Considering I'm in Minnesota USA I think that is pretty cool. As was mentioned, the first image was a little soft, but this last one seems a little over sharpened, maybe. What post processing steps did you take? I have found on my moon shots that just doing some level adjustments goes a long way, so I don't do much other work to them. Hope this helps. -Brett |

Hi Brett, thanks for your tips.
If you don't mind, maybe can you post your moon here as well, just for comparison  If I'm not wrong, I read somewhere that we always seeing the same side of the moon. But still pretty cool as USA and Singapore very far apart. I tried to use neatimage to remove some noise & sharpen it. Redstickman, will post the originalmoonhere ![]() No PP, just adjust the brightness level a little bit. |

I'm not sure if this is the one I printed but I do know the ones in this post were taken the same night.
I posted them on one of Fred's many excellent posts. http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=23 -Brett |

Even though you are pulling at leg`s, I´ll answer that one:
Noise Reduction. But you knew that :-), maybe just not now. Cheers, ReaLMash |
