Moon and a dead tree.

Yup I know it is not wildlife. I have spent the last few days hunting wild horses and this morning I notice the moon a little after sunrise and about a mile down the road a dead tree. That was all I needed to see to try and get a shot.
I was trying to focus on the moon.

Very nice Roger, looks like a scene from a western movie...I suspect there are some outlaws lurking somewhere that fear they may meet their "maker" on one of the branches...Donna

Hi there annie57. The photos are still in my camera. I will try and get to work on them tomorrow morning. They are the Jicarilla Wild Horses. Here is a link to some information about them.

Didnt know you could do that with our cameras, I just thought it was either the moon in detail, or a tree. It works thats for sure and I guess I will have to try it when I see the moon in the day. How much have you zoomed in on the last pic?

romerojpg thanks for looking and commenting. I zoomed until the tree and the moon looked pretty good to me the frame. I didn't look to see what it was.
