Thanks Ron.

I have a strange problem with my cam. The "focus" button on top refuses to operate. I wanted to do focus tracking (of flying birds) but can't. anyone else facing this prob?

The focus tracking is setup through the Quick Menu or Main Menu...

The top focus button is for AF/AF Macro/MF only....

The other focus button on the top is for moving the focal point around to compose a shot....

And it works differently for different camera modes...what mode are you in?
